The Waters Edge accommodation is provided in two separate buildings. The first of these is the original building built by Sanal a few years ago located about as near to the beach as you can get.
In the original accommodation block there are four rooms available to rent on each of the first and top floors. The top floor rooms have the advantage of being higher and therefore present better views of the Arabian Sea and beach front, although the first floor room views are equally as impressive. The top floor also has the advantage of wider balconies than the first floor giving more room to relax whilst enjoying the glorious sunsets sipping a refreshing drink or two. Rooms 104 and 204 do not have a balcony or view of any kind, due to their location in the building.
The second building built more recently is set slightly further back from the beach but still gives beautiful views over the Arabian Sea with the added bonus that the rooms at the rear overlook the meticulously maintained Taj Hotel Gardens and coconut lagoon.
There is an abundance of wildlife including Fish Eagles, Red Kytes and beautifully coloured blue Kingfishers being just some of the birds visible throughout the day. You can also enjoy watching the many chipmunks playing amongst the palms of the coconut tress situated just yards from your balcony.

The four rooms at the front overlook the beach and Arabian Sea whilst the four located at the rear of the building look out over the Taj Hotel gardens and coconut lagoon.
All rooms in both buildings are fully air conditioned and those at the front and rear of the new building have superb views. All other rooms in the new building have a view but overlook either the Water's Edge Restaurant or the private houses to the side of the building. This variance in views is reflected in the pricing of each room with the tariff for those at the side being less than those at the front and rear.
If you are interested in staying in the new building please mention this when asking about availability and we will try to provide a room to match your request.
The two buildings are possibly at the best location to enjoy all the combined benefits of the beach, sea views and restaurants and whilst there are other Hotels/Guest Houses in the area none can match the personal, individual attention given to each of The Waters Edge guests by Sanal and his team as is backed up by many of the Trip Advisor reviews, which gained the Resort a 2013 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award.
